Mr. Nipp is a Senior Vice President in Segal Marco Advisors’ San Francisco office. He has over 35 years of investment industry experience, including over 25 years in institutional investment consulting. Mr. Nipp has worked with institutional clients across the corporate, public market, multiemployer and endowment/foundation markets. He is responsible for consulting, client relationship management and new business development.
Mr. Nipp joined Segal Marco Advisors through its acquisition of the San Francisco Investment Consulting practice of Milliman Advisors, LLC, for which he worked for more than five years and was the head of the practice. Prior to Milliman, he spent several years in senior multi-asset solutions roles with investment management firms Invesco and BlackRock. His previous investment consulting experience consisted of 10 years each with Watson Wyatt Investment Consulting and Towers Perrin; he headed each firm’s investment management research function.
Mr. Nipp graduated magna cum laude with a BBA degree in Management and Communications from Mercer University. He then earned an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society San Francisco.
