Ms. McDonald is a Senior Vice President, Alpha Research, in Segal Marco Advisors’ Dublin office. The Alpha Research Group is responsible for Fundamental/Quantitative manager research. Ms. McDonald specializes in the evaluation and monitoring of real estate, timber, farmland, infrastructure, oil and gas, and commodities managers and products. In addition, she is responsible for helping clients design, structure and implement their hard assets programs. Prior to her position in Research beginning in 2001, she was an investment consultant providing a full range of services to corporations, public funds, endowments and foundations .
Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Ms. McDonald was employed at Reuters America, Inc. as a Project Manager supervising a team responsible for fixed income bond pricing and was previously a Fixed Income Analyst monitoring Capital Markets for various European countries. Prior to that, Ms. McDonald was employed at the Bank of Ireland Securities Services, Dublin office, as a Client Services Manager in the international division and at Smith Affiliated Capital as an Account Executive.
Ms. McDonald graduated with a BSc with Honors in Management from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and with a Higher Diploma in Marketing Techniques from the College of Marketing and Design, Dublin, Ireland. She received her MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
