Mr. St.Germain is a Vice President of Segal Marco Advisor’s Alpha Investment Research Group based in New York. Mr. St.Germain has eight years of investment management experience and is primarily focused on fundamental and quantitative manager research in illiquid alternative investment strategies and asset classes. As part of the group’s alternative investment process, he is primarily responsible for sourcing best-in-class investment ideas, manager due diligence and evaluation, portfolio construction and serving in a client-facing role in collaboration with the SMA’s consultants and senior management.

Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Mr. St.Germain was a Director with LR Global Partners, a boutique Frontier Markets investment specialist founded as part of the Rockefeller family office. While at LR Global, he maintained a multi-faceted role spanning research and analysis, due diligence, investment strategy development, vehicle structuring, as well as various fund operations and business development initiatives. Mr. St.Germain’s primary focus was on value-oriented fundamental security and fund analysis across special situation, co-investment and opportunistic portfolio investments.

Before LR Global, Mr. St.Germain was a Senior Alternative Investment Research Analyst with Brighton House Associates (BHA), a global alternative investment research and advisory platform. During his time with BHA, he was tasked with identifying, selecting, and monitoring alternative investment strategies and fund managers. As a member of the manager selection team, he had a specific focus on emerging markets and event-driven hedge funds, special situations and private equity co-investment strategies.

Earlier in his career, Mr. St.Germain held co-ops with MFS Investment Management, Dáil Éireann, Natixis Global Asset Management and Putnam Investments.

Mr. St.Germain received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
