Vice President and Senior Consultant
Mr. Chaikin is a Vice President and Senior Consultant in Segal Marco Advisors’ New York office. He currently serves as lead consultant to several public, Taft-Hartley and corporate clients. Mr. Chaikin assists clients in developing investment policy statements, selecting investment funds and managers and evaluating investment performance. He also advises clients on asset allocation strategy and plan design.
Mr. Chaikin provides investment consulting services to defined contribution, defined benefit and other types of investment programs. He supports the firm’s defined contribution research effort, which includes traditional mutual funds, stable value and target date funds. Additionally, he leads the team responsible for defined contribution recordkeeper searches, working with clients on RFP design and analysis of proposals.
Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Mr. Chaikin worked for Fifth Third Asset Management on the client service team, where he was responsible for client reporting. He also worked for Ameriprise Financial as a Financial Advisor.
Mr. Chaikin graduated from Miami University’s (Ohio) Richard T. Farmer School of Business with a BS in Finance. He received his MBA from Xavier University. Mr. Chaikin holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
